The Biggest Hades Update Yet Is On Its Way

As early access development chugs along at a steady clip for Supergiant Games’ latest project Hades the excitement for the game’s full release is only building. While the last several months have been filled with game-changing elements and new additions to the story, the May update is apparently set to be the biggest one fans have yet seen.

The Underworld Is About To Get Bigger

Supergiant Games has been phenomenally transparent regarding the development process of Hades. They’ve set the gold standard for how to implement early access development by maintaining constant communication with fans on Twitter and Discord. The renowned indie developer has made great use of the platforms as a way to gather and implement fan feedback into the game. This is just one of the many reasons Hades’ early access existence has been so successful.

With this transparency comes a whole lot of content as well. Each month players have seen a new update hit the game rife with new enemies, weapons, abilities, and core characters. The story and the world in which it unfolds have continued their exponential growth. The state of affairs has been quite encouraging for many fans to see, especially when it comes to skeptics of the early access model. Today Supergiant took to Twitter to announce how they intend to keep that hot streak alive.

Once again they’ve offered a mysterious silhouette for fans to guess at. The mention of their “biggest” update yet could simply reference the sheer amount of content in the upcoming version of the game, or be potentially referring to the massive figure in the background of the teaser. It’s not hard to imagine that it may be both, while the muscular figure in the foreground could very well be Hercules or another demigod of the sort. Either way, all will be revealed one week from today on May 7.
