A recent glitch rendered Loba in Apex Legends virtually useless since she could not teleport. The other week, we reported that a bug fix was on the way for this problem. Indeed, Respawn released that fix on July 7th. Nevertheless, the glitch continued to occur in some locations at World’s Edge. Now, there is an additional Loba teleporter fix that should resolve this issue. We also know a bit more about what caused the problems with the teleporter in the first place.
What to Know About the Additional Loba Teleporter Fix
The official Apex Legends account made the following Tweet about the latest patch:
The text reads, “Server patch incoming! Today we pushed through a fix to address: Improved usability for Loba’s tactical on World’s Edge. A bug allowing Wraith to access her weapon while phased.”
The issues had to do with out-of-bounds triggers. The developers implemented these triggers to keep players from hanging around in spots that were hard to get to. Loba should not be able to teleport to these spots. But apparently the triggers were interfering with the translocator in an unexpected way. The result was that Loba was also unable to reach valid locations with the teleporter.
Hopefully this time the issue will no longer exist and Loba will be able to teleport correctly to all valid locations, even at World’s Edge. If you still notice problems with the bracelet, make sure you contact the team at Respawn promptly. That way they can address any remaining issues.
In the meantime, read about how bugged waterfalls are stopping ammo. You can also read about a weird bug which caused a player to switch characters with another player on the same connection. Find out more about other glitches in our Apex Legends news section.
