Namco Museum Arcade Pac Switch Brings Together Tons of Classic Bandai Namco Games
Bandai Namco announced this morning in a press release that the Namco Museum Arcade Pac is bringing together Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus and other classic Namco games that fans know and love to Nintendo Switch. While Championship Edition 2 is already available for the handheld console hybrid as well as the original Namco Museum, this collection brings the two together for retail release.
The Namco Museum Arcade Pac will mark the first time both Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus and the original Namco Museum Switch games will be available at retail. This massive collection of classic games will be available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch system. Bandai Namco has yet to reveal a release date or pricing for this collection.
Regardless, we do know that fans of classic arcade titles will absolutely not want to miss this money-saving collection. As we already mentioned, the Namco Museum Arcade Pac will include Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus. This latest entry in the beloved and long-running franchise is a critical hit, one that fans shouldn’t miss out on. The Switch version, in particular, has an all-new mode exclusively that is built for two players.
The other half of the Namco Museum Arcade Pac is the original Museum collection that is also already available on the Nintendo eShop. This collection includes many different classic Namco arcade games like older Pac-Man games, Galaga, Splatterhouse, Dig Dug, and so much more. This retail version bringing together both of these titles is a bargain for arcade fans.
Unfortunately, the Namco Museum Arcade Pac announcement doesn’t include a release date for this retail bundle or pricing for how much it will cost altogether. For reference, the current prices on the Switch eShop are $19.99 USD for Pac-Man Championship Edition 2 Plus and $29.99 for the base version of the Namco Museum.
