Learn2Play is Already Training Over 1 Million eSports Players

The success of eSports has managed to raise the eyebrows of many people. While this has become a focus for gaming companies; it has also attracted a huge number of new players willing to become better at video games. With this in mind, a new eSports preparation initiative was made called Learn2Play.

While this initiative seems to take after the infamous L2P slur used in the fighting game community; This new service offers training services for players who want to become eSports professionals. These include training platforms for games like Dota2, League of Legends, Overwatch, and Hearthstone. Now, Learn2Play is happy to report that they have over 1 trainees in the platform. This number was achieved back in December of last year.

Learn2Play Reaches 1 Million Trainees

Learn2Play was founded to teach players to play games competitively

The greatest number of all has recently been reported by Business Insider. Learn2Play reached over 1 Million players who are interested in becoming better at eSports competitive play. Not only that, but the initiative also raised $2.1 Million USD in seed investments alone.

“It’s difficult to up your skills to play better to compete with other gamers… It’s maybe ten times more difficult, than chess.” Said the founder of Learn2Play Maxim Dreval. “I’ve never been a sports enthusiast or a gamer, but I saw a huge business opportunity in this market.”

The influence of eSports has actually become more and more apparent as time went on. So much so that games like Super Smash Bros are starting to become more welcoming to their competitive scenes. In fact, this is also the focus of upcoming games like Halo Infinite.

Elena Urusova, a professional competitive player and cofounder of Learn2Play knows this. She says that gamers usually start playing because they like to compete with their friends. However, that passion can become a lucrative business in the long run. “It’s about competing and telling each other you are best in something, that’s why we are always trying to improve our skills,”
