Fortnite’s map could see some serious changes when update 4.5 ends up coming down the pipeline. Dusty Divot, Tilted Towers, and the lair on Snobby Shores could end up having some major alterations coming, with some differences on tap that we definitely need to talk about. If a new map that IGN is continuing to update is any indication, it could make for some pretty important changes, at that, starting with the popular destination Dusty Divot.
Dusty Divot already went through its own series of changes, transforming from Dusty Depot to the newly-named area after the enormous meteor ended up striking it later on in the game. Additional trees, foliage, and other greenery has ended up covering the formerly “dusty” area over the last few weeks, with the beginning of Season Four kicking things off.
Dusty Divot wasn’t the only location to have been rocked by the meteor, either. Tilted Towers was struck at the same time, and the resulting crate in the middle of Tiled Towers has been evolving throughout the season. It looks like now there’s a structure or building that we might see filling out the area in the future, though it’s hard to make out what it could be from IGN’s map.
Then, there’s also the curious case of the villain’s lair on the mountain by Snobby Shores. By the time the update is available, the rocket may no longer be there. And Epic Games hasn’t said a word about these potential changes just yet. This could all be speculation, but if it isn’t, Fortnite players are in for a world of new Fortnite goodies, most likely, with lots of different content to sift through. Epic Games is always down to surprise us, and this new set of changes will be no different.
What do you think will change with the new season of Fortnite? Let us know! And what’s going on with that weird coundown timer, still? We haven’t figured that out yet, either!
