Mara Sov is the Queen of the Reef in Destiny 2. She is known for one of the most powerful and mysterious characters in the game along with The Nine (of course). She was first introduced in House of Wolves’ expansion in Destiny 1 back in 2015 (yes, it’s been almost 5 years). She also has a brother who is the Prince of the Reef – Prince Uldren. He and our Guardian in Destiny 1 had some dialogues back and forth.
Destiny 2: Prince Uldren’s Return?
Fast-forwarding to the release of the Forsaken expansion in Destiny 2, Bungie finally made an expansion on Queen Mara Sov, her brother Uldren Sov, and the last known Ahamkara – Riven of the Thousand Voices. In this expansion, Uldren Sov got corrupted by the Riven and ended up killing Hunter Vanguard – Cayde-6. After we kill Prince Uldren and take revenge of killing Cayde-6, Uldren Sov got revived as a Guardian by a Ghost named – Pulled Pork. And after that, we don’t know what he’s been up to or where he is right now as Bungie didn’t comment on this matter up until now.
With the release of The Dawning in Season of Dawn, Bungie released a new ship via the Eververse store. You might be thinking what’s special about a new ship? Well, if you take a look at the Lore tab of this ship, you’ll find a story of an unnamed Guardian who has been living in the streets of the City covering his face. For the complete lore tab, take a look below:
What do you think is going on with Uldren Sov? Would you accept him as the new Hunter Vanguard after what he has done? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and November 19, 2019, on Google Stadia.
