The Sundial, if you don’t know what it is, is a seasonal activity released in the Season of Dawn in Destiny 2. Last season (Season of the Undying), we’ve had Vex Offensive as the season activity which not that fun after a while if we compare it to The Sundial and Obelisks. The Sundial is a really well-implemented activity with the leveling system we’ve got in each Obelisk. This really makes the entire grind not repeatable and rather fun and engaging throughout the season.
Destiny 2: New Sundial Goes Live Later Today
Today is Tuesday which means a new weekly reset will be going live for this week. Bungie released a content roadmap prior to the release of Season of Dawn. It showed us all the content we’ll be getting in this season until February 18, 2019. Talking about the seasonal activity in this season, there will be a new Sundial releasing later today called – The Sundial: Tazaroc, The Sun Eater. We don’t know anything about it at this point except the name.
Apart from that, we will also be getting Iron Banner this week. Bungie revealed it in their last This Week at Bungie blog-post. There was a new Bow releasing with this season’s Iron Banner, but it seems that it got pushed back to the next season in Destiny 2. Here’s what Bungie said in their weekly blog-post:
“If you were paying close attention to the Season of Dawn calendar you may have noticed an Iron Banner-themed Bow. That image will also show up as director dialogue in the game when Iron Banner starts next week. We were hoping to have the new Iron Banner Bow available this Season, but it had to be pushed to Season 10. Sorry about the delay, but we wanted to call it out to avoid any confusion.“
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep will be hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, on October 1, 2019, and November 19, 2019, on Google Stadia.
