It has been finally announced. Black Ops 4 Nuketown is finally releasing this week, even sooner than we thought. Fans have been impatient about its release and they shall be rewarded with a cool new map. After its release, the multiplayer map count will be officially brought to 15.
The Black Ops 4 Nuketown map is coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for free on November 13 on PlayStation 4. Release on Xbox One and PC will follow one week later.
Nuketown has been announced to release as a free map for all players. There’s no information as to what update plans Treyarch has but we’re hopeful that not all multiplayer maps will be available only behind paywalls.
As for the Black Ops 4 Nuketown map itself, it looks like a reimagining of the original one. We hope that it keeps its small, close-quarter combat style even if its style changes. In its short teaser, the new maps look like one set in a snowy place. Additionally, in the teaser on Twitter you can find text that roughly translates to “Welcome Back” in Russian. This looks like a good setup for a Black Ops 4 map.
Apart from Black Ops 4 Nuketown, here’s the list of all the multiplayer maps available right now:
- Estates
- Construction Site
- Array
- Nuketown Island
- Cargo Docks
- Firing Range
- Fracking Tower
- Factory
- Rivertown
- Train Station
- Hyrdo Dam
- Asylum
- Turbine
- Contraband
Treyarch was true to its words. The developers had announced that the Black Ops 4 Nuketown map will be releasing a few weeks after release and they indeed did that. For now, the team behind the new Call of Duty title is focusing on the game, and even with some issues, it stands tall to the expectations.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. If you want to find out more news and guides about the game, stay tuned to VGR.
