If you are eagerly awaiting the next Assassin’s Creed game, we have some good news for you—well, a good rumor. It seems that the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla release date just leaked. If the date is correct, we don’t have too much longer to wait to enjoy an adventure among the Vikings.
What is the Rumored Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Release Date?
The rumored release date actually comes straight from Ubisoft, which made a post on Instagram. According to that post, the game will release on November 17th on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. Since then, the company took down the post. The post did not mention anything about the next gen consoles. We would not expect this, however, as we still do not know the exact date those consoles will release.
Now, what is really interesting about this release date is that it is on a Tuesday, not a Friday. Why is that relevant? Because the most recent games in the series came out on Fridays. That could call the date into question. But it may not, because Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t releasing on that particular Friday either. It is coming out the day before.
Why would these two major games both be steering around Friday, November 20th? A lot of people are guessing at this point that it may be because PS5 or Xbox Series X is slated to release on that day. Releasing a game on this same day would mean getting overshadowed by the console. That would certainly dampen sales. But this is just a guess. It could be a coincidence. At this point, who knows?
We are bound to pick up more context clues about the possible release dates for the next gen consoles soon. To keep up with updates on that as well as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and other games, follow our PlayStation news.
