If you have plans for the weekend in advance of the holiday with July 4th coming up, you may want to make sure you’re available, at least for tomorrow, when Saturday rolls around. There’s a huge event in Fortnite that’s about to go down on Saturday, so you might want to spend some time at home during that time.
It looks like Fortnite’s massive rocket in the evil lair near Snobby Shores looks like it’s going to be blasting off, but it’ll only be happening once. If you’re not logged in and on the Fortnite servers during the time that it is, you’ll end up missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime Fortnite event. And you wouldn’t want that to happen, right?
The event looks like it’s about to go down tomorrow at 1:30 PM ET, as Epic Games states you should get in-match on Saturday by that time and to start looking at the sky, as this will only happen the one time. Word is spreading throughout the Fortnite community, though no one is sure what’s going to happen after the rocket launches. There’s a lot of things that could happen, but being that we’re two weeks away from Season 5’s update, it can’t be anything too major, because that would come at the very end of this season, or at least you’d think — or the very beginning of the fifth.
Whatever ends up happening, we’re sure it’s going to herald something memorable and exciting for fans, even if it just turns one of the areas of the map into something different again. But it certainly seems like something different could be happening this time around, that’s for sure.
What predictions do you have about the upcoming rocket event? Are you going to make sure you’re around to catch it? Let us know!
