MLB The Show 19 Home Run Derby Results: Gameplay Simulation Predicts Winner

Welcome to the show! Monday evening, eight of the best sluggers in baseball will battle it out in the 2019 Home Run Derby. The field seems to be wide-open this year as many experts believe that any of the eight participants could walk away with the first-place trophy – and a $1 million-dollar check! The action doesn’t start until 8 p.m. ET, however, the crew at Sony couldn’t wait so they ran a Home Run Derby gameplay simulation.

The action was fast and furious right from the get-go on MLB The Show’s Home Run Derby gameplay simulation.

Just like any other year, fans packed into the annual Home Run Derby – this year being held at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio – to witness a ton of long balls. Thankfully, they were not disappointed.

Without giving MLB The Show’s simulation totally away, I will say that the final four was an epic battle! The last four players standing were Joc Pederson taking on Matt Chapman while Carlos Santana faces off against Ronald Acuna Jr.
