RBI Baseball 19 Cover Athlete Alex Bregman Named Starter in MLB All-Star Game

Alex Bregman isn’t on the cover of RBI Baseball 19 for nothing! The Houston Astros star was named to the 2019 MLB All-Star team on Thursday evening as the starting third baseman for the American League.

Will Alex Bregman play the hero again?

Last year Alex Bregman was named the MVP of the 2018 All-Star game. Can he pull off the same feat again in 2019? That’s a tough challenge, however, knowing Bregman’s grit, he would probably say all he wants to do is win the game.

In a quick recap, it was Alex Bregman, along with teammate George Springer who hit back-to-back home runs in the top of the 10th inning last year in D.C. to help lift the American League to an 8-6 victory.

This year Bregman will once again be joined by Springer and newly added Houston Astros slugger Michael Brantley in the mid-summer classic.

Starters revealed

The Houston Astros lead all of baseball in starters for the upcoming 2019 All-Star game with three. Right behind the Astros are the Chicago Cubs and Atlanta Braves who both have two players in the starting lineup.

Below is a look at the starters for the 2019 MLB All-Star Game. Also, don’t forget gamers, you still have a chance to win a decked-out MLB All-Star Xbox One X courtesy of RBI Baseball! The contest ends on July 12 so don’t hesitate!
