Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 remains a grand success and has become quite popular among fans of the series. With this in mind, Bandai-Namco has a plan that will further entice new players to give the game a shot. The company announced a free to play version of the game called Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite. Sadly, this iteration of the game is currently being released on PlayStation 4.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite is a Free to Play Version of the Game
For starters, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite is a new version of the game that can be downloaded for free on PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, this new version of the game will only be released on Sony’s console. Furthermore, no plans for a release on other consoles have been announced by Bandai-Namco. Additionally, the game will release both in Japan and America.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite will give players access to the beginning of the story mode of the game. Furthermore, it will also introduce players to some of the Parallel Quests, Raids, Online battles, and Hero Colosseum content. However, there are no details about how many characters of the roster will be available for play.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Lite players that transition to the full version of the game will be able to carry their progress over from the Free version. Additionally, players will have this version of the game releasing on March 20, 2019. With luck, we might get some news about a worldwide release of this game on Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
