Bethesda has announced their next Bethesda Game Days event; a chance for fans to meet developers from the studio and play upcoming games. This event, which will take place in Boston at the end of March, will also be the first opportunity for fans to play The Elder Scrolls: Online Elsweyr DLC; the next big upcoming Chapter DLC for the Elder Scrolls MMORPG.
Fans Can Play The Elder Scrolls: Online Elsweyr at Bethesda Game Days Event
The next Bethesda Game Days event will take place on the 29th and 30th of March, later this month. The event coincides with PAX East, which is taking place from the 28th to the 31st in Boston. This Bethesda event will take place at the Laugh Boston and MJ O’Connor’s Irish Pub, which are apparently next to one another. (425 Summer Street, Boston, MA 02210.) It isn’t part of PAX East, so fans won’t need a PAX East badge to get in; anybody can go along. The event will open at 1:30 PM EDT and close at 9:00 PM EDT.
The Bethesda event will be the first chance fans get to try out the upcoming Elder Scrolls: Online Elsweyr DLC, which is due out later this year. “Explore the home of the Khajiit,” says ZeniMax Online Studios, in a post announcing the event on the game’s website; “hunt roaming Dragons, and even try out the new Necromancer class. This could be your first opportunity to play ESO’s next Chapter before it releases on June 4!”
The event will feature a variety of themed rewards, including codes for ESO reward items and real-world prizes. Throughout the event, there will be several Elsweyr-themed raffles; “giving you the chance to win exclusive consoles and gaming perhipherals. If you can’t make it to Boston, don’t worry! These raffles are held both at the event and online, so keep an eye on our social channels for more details.”
Finally, several senior developers from ZeniMax will be hosting two live-streamed presentations at the event. This will include a demo and preview of Elsweyr on Friday, and a Q&A about the DLC on Saturday.
