In the Madden 19 football game, a batch of players considered MVPs for their team have been arriving in Ultimate Team mode. These are players who helped bring success for their teams over the course of the season even if those teams weren’t in the postseason. When the first group arrived, that was the case, but now there are new Madden 19 Ultimate Team MVPs from teams that qualified for the NFL Playoffs.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team MVPs: Khalil Mack, Marlon Humphrey
Not too long ago, EA Madden’s Daily Drops show provided gamers news of their offseason content. That included a new currency known as Scouts and a number of Team Builders cards for MUT. In addition, each team received a Most Valuable Player with upgraded skills and OVR. Here’s a look at the first Ultimate Team MVPs which included Julio Jones and Von Miller.
Four new MUT MVPs arrived on Monday (Feb. 18) and they each come from NFL playoff teams. Highlighting the latest group is Chicago Bears defensive star Khalil Mack. The Bears’ addition this season gets a nicely upgraded MUT card with a 97 OVR thanks to 96 Power Moves, 94 Block Shedding, 93 Play Recognition, and 93 Tackle skills.
Mack was one of two defensive stars to receive Team MVP cards on Monday. The other was Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey. He also has a 97 MUT MVP card which includes 96 Acceleration, 96 Zone Coverage, 95 Pressure, and 95 Speed Skills.
Humphrey was part of a Ravens team that got into the postseason as an AFC Wild Card team and lost to the Chargers, 23-17. He was in 14 games this past season and recorded 31 solo tackles, two interceptions, 15 defended passes, and a forced fumble.
Madden 19 Ultimate Team MVPs: Deshaun Watson, Chris Carson
Deshaun Watson played in just his second season for the Houston Texans. He didn’t quite have the numbers that fellow QB Patrick Mahomes did, but Watson helped guide his team to the NFL Playoffs. He finished with 4,165 yards and 26 touchdown passes on 29-of-49 completions.
Watson is one part of why the Texans seem to have a bright future ahead. After an 11-5 record this past season, his team made the AFC Wild Card round. They were the third seed but fell to the No. 6 Colts, 21-17. Still, Watson was an MVP for his team and gets the official offseason MUT card with a 97 rating. Among his top skills are a 96 Throwing Power, 95 Throw on the Run, and 95 Throw Accuracy on short passes.
Seattle Seahawks’ HB Chris Carson also picks up the Team MVP card for his contributions this past season. Carson had 1,151 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground off 247 carries. His team made it into the playoffs as a Wild Card team but fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 24-22. Carson’s 97 OVR MUT card highlights are a 97 Trucking, 97 Carrying, 94 Acceleration, and 93 Elusiveness.
Gamers can pick these new cards up in the Madden Ultimate Team mode to further boost their lineups. They’ll make sweet additions to any rosters, but particularly to those for the players’ specific teams. Which of the MVP cards released in the Madden 19 game are you trying to add, or have you already added?
