The Seoul Dynasty is the latest Overwatch League team to make some roster moves. The team announced Thursday that it has added three new players to its roster: Choi “Michelle” Min-hyuk, Hwang “Marve1” Min-seo, and Lee “Jecse” Seung-soo. Dynasty also signed on Lee “WhyNot” Juh-yeop as a coach.

These new additions bring the team’s total roster to nine, which is just over the minimum of eight players needed by Dec. 1. Seoul still has three slots left on its roster, but hasn’t yet said if it will fill them.

Both Michelle and Marve1 are joining Dynasty from Lucky Future Zenith, the Chinese-owned team that placed first in Overwatch Contenders China season two. Jecse is also coming up from Contenders Korea, where he played support for Korean team Element Mystic and placed third-fourth.

Assistant coach WhyNot previously worked with O2 Ardeont and MVP Infinity.

Throughout the offseason, Dynasty has dropped multiple players from the team, including Choi “Wekeed” Seok-woo, Gong “Miro” Jin-hyuk, Heo “Gambler” Jin-woo (moved to streaming position, inactive roster), Kim “KuKi” Ki (to Los Angeles Valiant), Koo “xepheR” Jae-mo (to Florida Mayhem), and Moon “Gido” Gido.

The team has also picked up Baek “Fissure” Chang-hyuk from the Los Angeles Gladiators.

There’s a chance that Miro could be retiring from professional Overwatch altogether. In September, the former Dynasty tank player announced via Twitter that he’s decided to stream instead.

Seoul Dynasty finished out the Overwatch League’s first regular season in eighth place after struggling to find its rhythm throughout the stages.

The league’s second season is set to kick off at Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 14, 2019. Next season will introduce eight brand new teams into the battle: Atlanta, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Paris, Toronto, Vancouver and Washington, D.C.

The addition of these eight teams allowed the league to decrease the total number of matches for each team, while increasing the number of matches overall. In the inaugural season, teams played 40 regular season matches. Next season, each team will play 28.

Seoul Dynasty will be striving to fight their way to the top of the pack next season and make a new and improved name for themselves in the Overwatch League.
